We are about to celebrate our 19th year on July 15, 2018. This year’s theme is: Faith that Can Move Mountain taken from Matthew 17:20.
For the first time in 12 years, this is my first time that I will be preaching in our anniversary celebration. Praying that God will bless the Anniversary and God will be glorified in it.
Below is my personal message for the Lighthouse Christian Ministry.
It’s been 12 years since I start pastoring the Lighthouse Christian Ministry. There’s a mixture of laugh, tears, joy, and even pain for this past 12 years.
I have seen people come and go. The general membership that we have 12 years ago is totally different from what we have now. Different faces, new friends, and new disciples. There’s one thing that I have never overcome with, that is saying good bye to those who migrate, transfer, and sometimes marry. It doesn’t mean though that I am sad, in fact, it’s a joy to see my spiritual children when they mature and start to fly in new heights.
For all these years, one thing that I have witnessed to be always consistent. That is God’s faithfulness. This is why Jesus taught us a lot about faith. Faith that persecution, hardships, challenges, not even death can stop.
Jesus wants us to have a faith that can move mountain.
