Outreaches

Our outreach ministry is wide spread in different communities in Ormoc. We already have churches in most of these communities while for some, it is still work-in-progress.

Below is the list of communities where we do outreaches.

  • Mabato – This community is uphill and the church building is located at the top of the hill. Quite far to reach, but it’s really an adventure going there. Ptr. Juni is the one leading the flock there.
  • Manlilinao – Located around 16km away from Ormoc, Manlilinao is one of the biggest communities where we are working. Ministering to people is quite hard in that area, but by God’s grace we have a couple of workers working in the area, Ptr. Ramy and Ptr. Mario.
  • Guiantiguian – Located in the middle of the rice fields, most members of this church are farmers. Ptr. Lindo and Ptr. Gonyong are the leaders of this outreach.
  • Lanipga – This community is located at the foot of the hill where Mabato is located. This promising group is lead by Ptr. Remy.
  • Milagro – This community is uphill in the northern part of Ormoc. The location is beautiful since you can see the whole Ormoc bay when you are up here in this community. It is lead by Ptr. Rudy and Ptr. Sonny.
  • Margen – This is the outreach of Mabato church. With the desire to reproduce as a church, Ptr.Juni along with his flock is working in this community.
  • Naungan – This community is located just right outside the main city of Ormoc. This is also new and there are already 4 baptized adults who have been the product of this ministry. Ptr. Arthem is leading the group.
  • Tambulilid – This is 5 year old outreach. We were able to plant a church this community but it did not last long. Most of the members migrated to other places while one of them died at a young age. We still continue to plant spiritual seeds in the hearts of the children though. This group is lead by Grace Olaer along with Marle and Sis. Betty.
  • Tacloban – The latest addition to our group of churches is the Lighthouse Christian Ministry – Tacloban. Currently, Ptr. Vince and Ptr. Vir are the pastors ministering in this Church.
